Female Photographer Service:
You may be wanting to book a portrait or family photography session, but perhaps you are concerned about female privacy (maybe you wear the hijab). With this in mind, Victoria Akbik Photography can offer an exclusive Ladies Family Photography session with me – a female photographer in the privacy of your own home. For these sessions, if we are in your home, ladies can relax if they wish to be uncovered, and any of your photographs will be private – so these will not be published anywhere in print or online. These photos will remain exclusively for you, presented to you as beautifully edited, high-resolution digital files on disk.
I am a female British Lifestyle Family Photographer based here in Abu Dhabi. I have lived in The Gulf (between Qatar and the UAE) for the past 17 years, and I am married to an amazing Syrian man whose family are also based here in the UAE. So over many years, I have come to understand and deeply respect Arabic, Muslim and local Emirati culture; the values & sensibilities rooted firmly in heritage and Islamic traditions.
Here in Abu Dhabi, I have worked with Emirati VIP families and understand the importance of utmost discretion with my work… And I take great pride in honouring the trust that has been placed in me.
Note that Victoria Akbik Photography is solely my own business; I am the photographer, and no work is out-sourced – I do all my own editing, in my home-based office. So I would be the only person to view your photographs. Should you wish to order prints, this is possible as I work directly with female printers.

Formerly based in Abu Dhabi running my own photography business, I relocated back to my native England in the Summer of 2017. Now I’m based in beautiful Warwickshire, and I still specialise in natural light, on location lifestyle photography to capture love, light & life through my lens.
For me, photography is an essential way to preserve priceless memories and freeze moments in life. Time is all too fleeting and before we know it, the years pass by and we look back and wonder where the time went. We can’t stop time, but maybe – if I had a superpower – that is what I’d wish for. Our best chance is to document our lives so we have a window into our past that we can visit whenever we like. I find so much joy in using my skills to create priceless memories for others. It challenges my mind and breathes energy into my soul. I celebrate freezing those moments to capture not only the big picture but also the beautiful details and time-capsule minutiae, to celebrate the love and connections within family and kinship.
